You know, I’m still keen on chocolate so I’ve decided to bake vegan banana, chocolate semi-cooked cakes (this is so to die for!🤤). I didn't put sugar in my recipe because I’m clearly not a sweet tooth. Thus, I advise you to add some sugar in your cakes (I’ve put the proportions in the recipe) 😉

Prep time: 15 min Cook time: 15-20 min

Ingredients (for 4 semi-cooked cakes)

Banana and chocolate dough:

  • 100g of banana

  • 10g of cocoa powder

  • 50g of water

  • 40g of plain flour

  • 2g of baking powder

  • Optional: 25g of sugar

Banana, vanilla and tonka dough:

  • 35g of banana

  • 10g of water

  • 2g of potato starch or plain flour

  • A little bit of tonka and vanilla extract or powder

  • Optional: 10g of sugar

Method

For the banana and chocolate dough, mash the banana with a fork. Add the cocoa powder and the water and mix until the dough is homogeneous. Then, add the flour, the baking powder and the sugar. Mix well and put the dough in one side.

For the banana, vanilla, and tonka dough, mix all the ingredients (after having crushed the banana). Preheat the oven to 180C° (356°F). Line 4 cake rings and put them on a sheet pan with parchment paper. Place a layer of banana-chocolate dough, then a layer of vanilla-tonka dough and finally a layer of the banana-chocolate dough. Do the same for all cakes. Bake for 15 - 20 minutes.

That's it! Enjoy! 😋😍
